Business leaders in the greater Los Angeles area looking to expand their networks and exposure should mark their calendars for Saturday, April 14, 2012. The team behind the SharePoint Saturday LA (SPSLA) community, lead by MCTS Nedra Allmond, are hosting a free, all-day event on the campus of California State University, Long Beach inside the Student Union. A highlight of the event, is Keynote Speaker, Mark Miller, founder of two of the largest, online SharePoint communities in the world. Also included are interactive workshops, guest lecturers, Microsoft SPSLA Health Check and more. The event begins at 8:30am and runs until 5:30pm. This will be a great opportunity to connect with other SharePoint users, admins, developers and architects, to learn from experts and MCM’s and MVPs, and to get introduced to various vendors and service companies serving the SharePoint community.  

SharePoint Saturday events are quickly gaining popularity across the US and around the world, and we expect attendance to reach over 300 people.  30 sessions will be led by working professionals skilled in a variety of SharePoint disciplines.  Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be served at the venue, and free wireless internet access will be provided by the facility. Giveaways and prizes will also be provided throughout the day.
